Valentines
Yesterday I used the lovely Picnik website to make some valentines cards for Anika to take to school with her on Tuesday.
Picnik is an awesome photo editing site – you can do a ton of stuff for free, and with a paid subscription, you can do even more amazing things.
The bad news is that Picnik has now been swallowed by the machine that is gooogle….but the good news is that until April 19 you can use all of their premium tools for free! So if you are interested, check it out. Allegedly much of their stuff will be available through Google+ – but we will see how all of that pans out.
In the meantime though, I used the site to whip up some Valentines for Anika.
I printed these on white cardstock and cut them out. They are pretty simple – you could jazz them up by printing them on photo paper, but this is what I had on hand so I went with it.
I have some heart-shaped lolly pops and we are going to make a couple of small slits in each of the cards and slide the lolly pops in. I’ll try to take some pictures after they are all done!
Of course, we needed a special Valentines card for Maliah…
Ani really liked them and even sat down with her class list and wrote them all out last night!
Not bad for an hour’s work….
Have a great weekend!

I loooooooooooooove Picnik. I will cry if it’s no longer the same! But these are super duper cute.
Happy Valentine’s Day Anika & Sam!!
