We went to Boston a few weeks ago to visit my aunt for Thanksgiving (after all, if ever there was a year that warranted two thanksgivings – the Canadian AND the American versions – this is it!). We had a delightful time there, and crazy enough, the drive there and back was JUST FINE with Sam. He can handle 8+ hours in a car beautifully.

One of the perks of going to Boston is visiting Joann’s Fabric. There is something about American fabric stores that is just…different. It’s way cheaper, for one thing. For another, the sale racks are usually crazy sales ($3/yard? Amazing). And the selection is so great.

Needless to say, I did some damage.

Some is earmarked for Christmas projects; some for post-Christmas projects….so much fun. Now I just have to make space for all of it!!
